Our Pioneer location, located near Rochford, hosts 193 acres of property ideal for wilderness camping, hiking and retreats. The George S. Mickelson Trail crosses the property as well as part of Rapid Creek.

This property historically housed the Montana Mine and remnants of the mine are still on camp property.

The Pioneer lodge was built in the last five years and has approximately 10 rooms and sleeps up to 38 people. Several rooms have double beds. You will enjoy a full kitchen with all brand new appliances, a men’s and women’s bathroom with two showers in each. The main hall is ideal for large meals or meetings with great views of our fireplace and the Black Hills.

A prayer labyrinth is located next to the lodge.

We have three cabins, which will sleep 8 and contain a kitchenette and half bathroom. The cabins are winterized and will be available year-round.

We also have an abundance of space to pitch tents, including our wilderness site which is located near the Mickelson Trail.
