Sept 11-13, 2026: Women’s Retreat
The Women’s Retreat is open to all women ages 18 and up. The weekend will provide rest, relaxation and fellowship, plus Bible study and food. The fall weather should provide opportunities for walking, hiking and meditation in the labyrinth. Costs cover lodging, food and programming.
Marilyn Stone is a retired special education teacher and a “cradle” Presbyterian, residing in Burlington, WI. For over 8 years, Marilyn has served on the Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) National Response Team. She is a Disaster Preparedness Trainer assisting organizations, churches and families with disaster preparedness. In addition, she serves on the PDA Advisory Board.
With a lifetime of service with Presbyterian Women (PW), Marilyn currently serves on the PW Synod of Lakes and Prairies Coordinating Team. She is coordinator of the Native American Concerns Committee, building relationships and partnerships with Indigenous people. Interested in deepening an understanding of the historical and generational trauma Indigenous people continue to experience, she leads a PWS Native book study, which offers an opportunity for in-depth discussions and learning. Marilyn is an elder at Apostle Presbyterian Church in West Allis, WI where she is actively engaged in the ministry of the church.

This women’s retreat begins with check-in 5-6 PM and dinner at 6 PM on Friday, September 11th, and ends following worship Sunday morning, September 13th.
